Fake news & scams during COVID
Fake news, malicious disinformation and scam messages have surged during the pandemic, with regular reports of vulnerable or minority groups being deliberately targeted.
Big Leaf Foundation has created a short film in 10 languages, to help everyone identify, and avoid spreading, fake news. We have also put together a new short leaflet about scam text messages and how to spot them, based on guidance from the government's National Cyber Security Centre.

On 19 July 2021 the Government removed almost all COVID-19 restrictions across England. The rules on self isolation have also changed for people under 18 or over 18 and fully vaccinated.
We are in the process of translating this new guidance and will upload new languages here as they become available. Please feel free to download and share. |

Despite the recent easing of restrictions in England (July 2021). Masks are still recommended in crowded public places and on public transport. In London masks remain mandatory on all public transport.
