Casework

Big Leaf Foundation now offers a casework service for displaced young people aged 15-25 living in Surrey - providing tailored advice and advocacy and helping young people to understand and access the services to which they are entitled.

Our caseworkers will help them to access the support they need, be it welfare, legal, healthcare, education or recreation.

We aim to give information and independent advice to empower and support young people to make their own decisions and to advocate for themselves wherever possible.

How to access this service

Young people can email our Caseworker team directly on [email protected]. Or call or WhatsApp Daud (West Surrey) 07921 385227 or Ro (East Surrey) 07762 348710. Telephone interpreting is available if required.

Social workers and other support workers can refer a displaced young person for casework or other Big Leaf projects via our referral form.

Please note: We will prioritise young people who are not engaged with any other services, and those identified as most in need of support.

With thanks to the Tresanton Trust for funding our casework provision.
